Dominican players Juan Soto, Ketel Marte, Manny Machado, and Geraldo Perdomo topped the National League list as recipients of the 2025 Silver Slugger Award.

New York Mets outfielder Juan Soto secured the honor for the sixth time. The Dominican now boasts six Silver Sluggers after his 26-year-old campaign, a feat only matched by Mike Trout and Alex Rodríguez. He has also achieved this award in six straight seasons, five times in the National League and once last season in the American League. Soto’s six Silver Sluggers have been earned with four different franchises: the Nationals, Padres, Yankees, and Mets.

Arizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte claimed his second consecutive award, making him one of three Arizona players to take home a Silver Slugger this year, the most among NL clubs. Marte finished with a .283 batting average, 28 home runs, 72 RBIs, and an .893 OPS this season. His OPS was nearly 100 points higher than any other National League second baseman (Brice Turang was second at .794).

San Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado earned his third. He is the first Friar since Tony Gwynn to win at least three Silver Sluggers (Gwynn won the last of his seven in 1997). Machado hit .275 with 27 homers and 95 RBIs in 2025, also warranting his seventh All-Star Game selection.

Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop Geraldo Perdomo secured his first. The Quisqueyan’s strong offensive output was one of the biggest surprises of 2025. This year, he hit 20 homers, drove in 100 runs, and registered an OPS+ of 136 in 597 plate appearances. Perdomo also added a personal-best 27 stolen bases.

Other recipients included outfielders Corbin Carroll of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Kyle Tucker of the Chicago Cubs; Catcher Hunter Goodman of the Colorado Rockies; and Japanese player Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers as the designated hitter.
